I could argue that I have spent the past 6 years recovering from some sickness I contracted, but that would be a half truth. The crux of my recovery has more to do with how that sickness took me from such an inspired moment in my life.
Home is a strange concept, one that I have meditated upon from a very young age. I am a true believer in being proud of where you come from. If my travels have taught me anything it’s that places, like people, are a combination of flawed and beautiful, but most are worthy of one’s time, exploration, forgiveness and defense. No place is perfect, but then again, what truly beautiful thing is?

Let me just post this again.
Since I split into two blogs, this one and a personal account, I’ve tried to keep personal photos off of TSL. However, this man and his music are most definitely things I love. I got the chance to meet him Monday night and get this photo. I couldn’t come up with anything to say to him (I was a bit in awe), but it was an amazing experience anyway. One which I hope to repeat.
