“I’m sorry too. Sorry I will never know him… but he will know why I died and I hope he will understand. I was trying to make a world in which he could live a happier life.”—Remus Lupin (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows)
Depression is a little like happy hour, right It’s always gotta be happening somewhere on any given night And oh, nostalgia, I don’t need you anymore Just told a perfect stranger that my kids look more like yours You can be your own spotlight
I'd like to clarify: Tamora Pierce is one of the best authors ever, not best children's/young adult authors ever, in my opinion. Literature is literature and not less because it may have younger protagonists. It is my loss, however, that I did not read any of her books as a child. It is also my pleasure that I can choose to read her books, over and over again, as a so-called adult. You have great taste in literature. Do you like Patricia Wrede, Robin McKinley, Susan Cooper, Caroline Stevermer, Philip Pullman, Maria V. Snyder(, and I could go on)?
I’ve read a little bit of almost all of those authors (I’ve never even heard of Caroline Stevermer, though) over the years. I’ve devoured Maria V. Snyder’s books over the last year or so, and I recently finished Chalice by Robin McKinley. All of those are quality fantasy authors.
Didn't you just say you post original stuff unlike people who reblog and waste time searching for stuff on the internet, but then you said you spend a lot of time in Flickr looking for stuff you like? Contradictory if you ask me.
As far as I’m concerned, there’s a difference between introducing new images to tumblr and reblogging the same things everyone else is. Not as many people are going to want to follow you if you’re only reblogging content they can find on everyone else’s account. So I strive to find and post things that other people aren’t posting.
Hey, cool contents!!! love this picture and reblogged it! It will be pubblished during the next month!
By the way: I want to be updated with your work, so I started following you! :-)
how'd you get so many followers? and how long have you had your tumblr?
I’ve had my tumblr for a a year and a few months.
A lot of my success on tumblr is probably due to luck, but I also like to think that it’s because I share mostly original content, rather than reblogging, give credit and spend a lot of time browsing the internet for stuff to share.
I really love your blog, so it was a shock when I saw one of *my* photographs on it one day! I'm tickled that you would find my photo worthy of your collection. I just wanted to say thanks.
